The CyberJungle

Formerly known as The Data Security Podcast

The superior man, when resting in safety, does not forget that danger may come. When in a state of security he does not forget the possibility of ruin. When all is orderly, he does not forget that disorder may come. Thus his person is not endangered, and his States and all their clans are preserved.  Confucius

Keepers of the Wild

"We have come close to destroying the natural habitats of many animals. The number of endangered species is growing rapidly and consistently. Only through education, time and love will we be able to save our wildlife. Being concerned is not enough, we must actively pursue answers to the problems that face our natural environment."
Jonathan Kraft - Founder and Director of Keepers of the Wild

I recently visited Keepers of the Wild Animal Sanctuary in Valentine, AZ with my husband, Cody. I feel that it is important that everyone is aware of the mistreatment, neglect, and abuse of exotic and domestic animals that happens in the world today. Although some of the stories of the animals I met at The Keepers of the Wild were heart breaking, these stories all had a happy ending in that these animals were rescued by people that will do all that is in their power to make the lives of these animals not only acceptable, but wonderful! One of the directors, Tina Matejek, spoke with me for a few moments before our tour began. I could easily see her love and understanding of all animals. I must also thank Joyce, our guide, for putting up with my many questions and giving us an experience that will last a lifetime.

Please visit Keepers of the Wild to learn more about this wonderful service provided to animals by Mr. Kraft and his great staff and volunteers. As humanity is the main cause of the deteriorating quality of life to these wonderful animals, we should be the ones to right the wrongs that have been done to them. Please help Keepers of the Wild in their pursuit of this goal.

HandsetDetection.com

Many users are viewing Web sites with mobile devices instead of PCs and Macs. It is important to allow these users to view our sites without wading through broken links and unsupported styles. Recently, this need for a better user experience with mobile devices has caused me to research the best methods to do so. In my search I came across many discussion boards with very little helpful advice, however, I did come across one site that puts them all to shame. Handsetdetection.com has many wonderful resources for developers and I urge you to check out their site.
